Under the direction of the Department Director, supervision of the Radiology Supervisor, and in collaboration with the radiologists, performs advanced technical diagnostic imaging procedures and related activities utilizing age-specific criteria according to department standards.
Serves as a customer service representative to patients, their families, the public, and the medical staff.
Participates in quality control and organizational improvement activities.
Is a technical and clinical role model for less experienced radiologic technologists in the department.
Participates in call schedule to meet staffing needs of the department.
Travels to and from off-campus locations to perform radiographic or fluoroscopic procedures when requested.

Requires graduation from a JRCERT or RTCC accredited radiologic technology program and current California Radiologic Technologist licensure. Must hold national certification from the ARRT and BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
