Ambulatory Registered Nurse (RN) – Rheumatology DEPARTMENT

  • Rheumatology – Baystate Medical Center Baystate Medical Center Campus 759 Chestnut Street Baystate Health is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Rheumatology team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact by coordinating care for patients with chronic and complex conditions while partnering closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and a multidisciplinary care team. As an Ambulatory RN, you will provide clinical triage, patient assessment, education, care coordination, and ongoing follow-up. You'll manage patient portal communications, conduct nurse visits, support treatment plans, and serve as a trusted resource for patients throughout their care journey. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator who thrives in a collaborative, patient-centered environment and is committed to delivering exceptional ambulatory care.
  • SCHEDULE: Full-Time Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

Qualifications

Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license. Current AHA BLS certification. Minimum of two (2) years of RN experience. Strong assessment, triage, patient education, and care coordination skills. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with providers and interdisciplinary teams. Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals from diverse backgrounds. Ambulatory or specialty practice nursing experience. Experience caring for patients with chronic or complex medical conditions. Requirements

Candidates must hold a current Massachusetts RN license, AHA BLS certification, and have at least two years of nursing experience. Experience in ambulatory or specialty practice and the ability to work with both adult and pediatric patients are required.
