1. Searching for a family or adult-gerontology nurse practitioner licensed to work in Ohio with at least one year of working NP experience in a primary care setting or hospital medicine to provide on-site services full-time to the male population at this correctional facility. 2. Conduct examinations and manage acute and chronic conditions 3. Diagnose, treat, and prescribe within the scope of practice 4. Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests 5. Administer vaccines and perform minor procedures 6. Coordinate referrals and document care according to the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction standards 7. Collaborate with the Chief Medical Officer and care team
1. Active Ohio NP license - REQUIRED 2. ANCC certification - REQUIRED 3. DEA registration - REQUIRED 4. CPR/BLS certification - REQUIRED 5. 1+ year NP experience in primary care - REQUIRED
