Overview Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant – Hand Therapy (Per Diem) Location: Trinity, FLSchedule: As needed, Monday–FridayPay Rate: $35/hr Select Physical Therapy in Trinity is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to provide per diem coverage in our established hand therapy program.
Candidates should have at least one year of recent hand therapy experience or completed fieldwork in hand therapy with Select Medical.
In this role, you will treat a wide range of upper extremity conditions, including tendon injuries, post‑operative fractures, sprains, and other orthopedic diagnoses.
You will work within a supportive outpatient team, alongside experienced hand therapists and regional CHTs who collaborate on education, best practices, and schedule support.

Teach clients new ways of approaching tasks and educate them on how to break down activities into achievable components Ensure delivery of high-quality patient care services. Must be a graduate of an ACOTA accredited occupational therapy assistant (OTA) program National registration and state COTA licensure or registration REQUIRED Must have 1 year current working experience with hand therapy patients. In lieu of experience, new grad COTAs with fieldwork in hand therapy with Select Medical would be eligible.
