About the role

The pharmacist integrates patient-oriented clinical services with traditional drug control and distributive activities. They provide critical drug information and advice on interactions and contraindications to healthcare providers to ensure safe therapy across all patient demographics.

Responsibilities

As part of the health care team, practices Pharmacy as a knowledge-based clinical profession, and integrates patient-oriented services with traditional distributive and drug control activities. Provides pharmaceutical services including drug information to nurses, physicians, and other health care providers. Advises the same with respect to drug interactions, contraindications and other relevant information to ensure optimal and safe drug therapy. Serves all patients to include, but not limited to, neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics. The OR Pharmacist will be working varied 8h shifts M-F and every 4th weekend.

Qualifications

REQUIRED:1. Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy. PREFERRED:1. One (1) year of previous hospital pharmacy experience. 2. Experience in Retail Pharmacy practice. 3. Good communication skills. Work Hours: Varies Weekend Requirements: Yes

Requirements

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy. Preference is given to those with one year of hospital pharmacy experience and retail pharmacy practice experience.
