A Physician's necessitates providing appropriate timely assistance and advice to health care professionals as appropriate. A Physician instructs, monitors, and advises junior medical officers or other health care professionals as appropriate. Most physicians work constructively and collaboratively with other health care professionals in attaining high standards of health care in their clinical experience.
Appropriate oversight as needed from peer review committee and administrative medical directors.
Supervising physician assistants and certified nurse practitioners as well as support staff including RN, LPN, MA, etc.
Being able to sit and stand for extended periods of time, capable of adapting to a fast-paced office environment; may need to assist in lifting or positioning patients of all sizes; vision correctable to 20/20 and hearing within normal range.
Typical Working Condition: Out-patient office and/or nursing home environment
Blood and bodily fluids, sharps, cavicide wipes, envirocide cleaner, Lysol, Clorox cleaners, pathogens, vaccines, medications, hand soap, alcohol-based hand sanitizer, other acidic and base preparations.
Perform and record history and physical examinations, order appropriate labs and imaging studies, diagnostic procedures, and other duties.
