Performs professional duties in applying ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnosis under the direction of a Radiologist and Lead Nurse. Responsible for producing and evaluating images for medical diagnosis while ensuring compliance with Federal MQSA and State standards.
Mammography Technologist at Providence Queen of the Valley Medical Center in Napa, CA. This position is Part time and will work 8-hour, Day shifts.
Under the direction of the Radiologist and Lead Breast Center Nurse, and with latitude for independent judgment, performs all the professional duties involved in applying ionizing radiation for radiographic diagnosis at the technical level. Acts in compliance with Federal MQSA, State, and Joint Commission standards. Produces and evaluates images and related data to be used by physicians to render medical diagnosis. Performs related clerical tasks and assumes responsibility for coordinating exams performed.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. Requires California Mammographic Radiologic Technology Certification, National Registered Technologist - Mammography, and AHA BLS certification. One year of mammography experience and familiarity with MQSA standards are preferred.
