Overview The Patient Care Assistant assists the unit in patient care duties such as cleaning/bathing patients, positioning, re-positioning and transporting patients, stocking shelves, cleaning equipment and assisting with dietary tasks. All work is performed under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and a current BLS certification. CNA training and certification, as well as previous hospital secretarial experience, are preferred.
