Job Summary and Responsibilities 4 South Full time Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday 7a-7p As a Patient Care Technician (PCT), you will deliver essential direct patient care under the supervision of our clinical team.

Leveraging your knowledge of basic patient care principles and medical terminology, you will perform a range of daily duties.

Every day you will actively assist patients with personal care, mobility, and feeding, monitoring vital signs, documenting observations, and maintaining a therapeutic and organized patient environment.

You will also work closely with the nursing team to prepare patients for procedures or transport.

To be successful in this role requires a genuine passion for patient well-being, diligence in executing tasks, keen observational skills regarding patient conditions, and a proactive approach to continuous learning and professional development.

Provide direct patient care: Assist with personal hygiene, physical care, and vital sign monitoring under RN/LPN supervision.

Record and report patient data: Accurately document vital signs, intake/output, weight, and blood glucose readings.

Communicate patient status: Report changes in patient condition promptly to the RN/LPN.

Assist with patient transitions: Support admission, transfer, and discharge processes.

Maintain patient environment: Perform housekeeping tasks, ensure patient safety, and address comfort needs.

Manage equipment and supplies: Operate vital sign machines, glucose meters, scales, lifts, and other equipment as needed.

Job Requirements Required High School Graduate General Studies, upon hire or High School GED General Studies, upon hire and Basic Life Support - CPR, within 30 Days Preferred Prior Healthcare Experience

Requires a high school diploma or GED and Basic Life Support (CPR) certification within 30 days of hire. Prior healthcare experience is preferred.
