What You'll Do Serve as the main point of contact for medication orders and pharmacy communications Ensure all clients receive their medications on time, tracking refills and addressing any delays. Obtain and document prescription information, including approvals, denials, and prior authorizations and notate on shift reports and in EMR Facilitate communication between the prescriber, pharmacy and the patient Ensure patient medication educational needs are met and documented by authorized personnel Collaborate with Utilization Review and billing departments to mitigate financial barriers What We're Looking For High School diploma or GED required Valid Driver's license and CPR certification preferred Industry-related experience preferred If in recovery, a minimum one - year period of sustained sobriety required Strong interpersonal and multitasking skills Warm, compassionate and empathetic personality Dignified character that models recovery principles
