The Registered Nurse delivers excellent, individualized patient care within an interdisciplinary team using evidence-based medicine. They are responsible for facilitating all aspects of the patient visit experience in a collaborative environment.
Graduate from a state accredited school of professional nursing. Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse license required. For Staff Registered Nurse positions within specialty area, prior employment experience in the appropriate clinical setting is preferred. CONTINUING EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS Position requires RN to be familiar with hospital and department policies and procedures, accepted methods of requisitioning ancillary department service work, and familiarity with the medial staff. This knowledge is normally acquired through 1-3 months of orientation time. Must maintain current nursing knowledge and BLS certification and required CEU’s for relicensure.
