The Central Sterile Technician is responsible for decontamination, sterilization, and the preparation of case carts and patient care equipment. They also manage the restocking of crash carts and other specialty carts throughout the facility.

Evening Shift - 7.5 Hours (United States of America) Under the Supervision and Directions of the Perioperative AVP/CSP manager, the Central Sterile Technician performs activities and duties in decontamination, sterilization, case cart preparation, patient care equipment cleaning/distribution, restock of crash carts and other house-wide specialty carts. Must be experienced in the decontamination process and handling of major surgical instrumentation/trays including total joint/orthopedic surgeries, robotic, neurosurgery and other specialties.
High School diploma required. 3-5 years current Central Sterile experience in a hospital setting required. CRCST certification required. Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal. Computer skills required. Ability to lift (up to 25lbs) and pushing of instrument carts. Ability to stand for long periods of time per diem, various hours
