Required Education and Experience
Must possess an Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and a Valid Nursing license by the Kentucky Board of Nursing or a state Nursing Board in the “Compact State Agreement”.
Preferred Education and Experience
Two (2) years related experience and/or training as a Nurse and at least 1 year with Developmental Disabilities or Psychiatric Nurse experience.
This is a full time nursing position, typical hours for this position are 8AM-4PM

Assist Physicians, Nurse Practitioners and other nurses involved in taking care of patients in our clinics.
Organize clinics; collect data prior to clinics.
Measure and record patient vital signs, obtain EKG’s, perform basic podiatry functions; perform basic wound care and assist in triage care of patients through the Hazelwood Outpatient Specialty Clinics.
Perform CLIA waived lab testing and collect phlebotomy and other lab specimens and label specimens appropriately
Maintain supplies, equipment, stocks and sterilizes equipment; perform accurate, legal and ethical documentation at all times.
Process patient phone messages, returning calls and routing to other team members as appropriate. Call caregivers to obtain and relay pertinent information for the physician
Update client calendar databases with clinic appointments, update electronic health record and aid in the collection of data from the multiple clinics in the outpatient clinic setting.
Be able to multitask in multiple specialties including medicine, dentistry, Epileptology, Psychiatry and therapy.
Take responsibility to become familiar with policies and procedures and adhere to as warranted.
Shall provide individualized services to meet the treatment needs of each of the specialty intermediate care (IC) clinic patients for services in field of care. Shall meet requirements of 902 KAR 20:410 Specialty Intermediate Care Clinics as warranted.
Learn and follow all policies and procedures.
