About the role

The Registered Dietitian provides individualized nutrition therapy and conducts assessments for clients recovering from eating disorders. They collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop care plans and provide meal coaching and nutritional education to patients and families.

Position Overview: As a Registered Dietitian, you will have the opportunity to oversee and provide optimal nutrition therapy to a case load of clients.

You will develop care plans by conducting nutrition assessments, monitoring on-going medical conditions, and through collaboration with the other members of our multidisciplinary treatment team.

You will work directly with patients and their families providing support and nutritional education.

Schedule

  • Recovery: Provides individualized nutrition therapy to all assigned patients. Conducts nutrition assessments for all assigned patients in accordance with policy and procedures and in compliance with all regulatory standards. Provides group nutrition education as assigned. Supports plating and provides active meal coaching/support for clients in Therapeutic Supported Meals as assigned. Contributes to multidisciplinary case conceptualization and treatment planning. Provides nutrition specific transition/aftercare planning for all patients including communication with internal and external dietitians to ensure coordination of care. Documents all nutrition care in a clear, concise, and professional manner using the EHR, in compliance with policies and procedures and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

Current Registered Dietitian license in the state of employment required. Current board certification with the Commission on Dietetic Registration required Master’s Degree required, unless licensed prior to January 2024. ServSafe Food Handler certification required Additional food safety certification as required by the state or municipality

Requirements

Candidates must hold a current Registered Dietitian license, board certification from the Commission on Dietetic Registration, and a ServSafe Food Handler certification. A Master's degree is required unless the candidate was licensed prior to January 2024.
