Provide compassionate, person-centered support and supervision to individuals in residential and rehabilitation programs. Assist clients with daily living skills, health needs, and community integration to promote independence and dignity.

The Direct Support Professional is a valued member of the Hope Network team, providing compassionate, person-centered support and supervision to individuals receiving services in our residential and rehabilitation programs. DSPs help people develop daily living skills, achieve personal goals, maintain health and safety, and participate fully in their communities while promoting dignity, independence, and choice.

  • Support people with personal care, daily routines, and healthy living
  • Help individuals learn new skills and become more independent
  • Provide medication support and assist with health-related needs
  • Take part in community outings, appointments, recreational activities, and transportation
  • Create a safe, positive, and supportive environment
  • Build meaningful relationships while treating everyone with dignity and respect
  • Keep simple, accurate documentation of services provided
  • Work as part of a team to help individuals achieve their goals

What You Bring

Preferred

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working with people with disabilities, mental health needs, or caregiving experience

Required

  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to obtain CPR/First Aid certification
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist individuals as needed
  • Ability to work scheduled shifts, including weekends
  • Ability to pass required background checks

Schedule Options Available

  • 1st
  • Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Full-Time & Part-Time)
  • 2nd
  • Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM (Full-Time & Part-Time)
  • 3rd
  • Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM (Full-Time & Part-Time)
  • On-Call Positions
  • Every-Other-Weekend Only Options

Training and Onboarding

  • Your first week will include a full week of New Hire Orientation, held Monday–Friday during standard business hours
  • Additional required trainings must be completed within your first 90 days
  • Some trainings may be scheduled outside of your regular shift hours

Requirements

Requires a valid driver's license, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. A high school diploma and experience in caregiving or mental health are preferred.
