As a Medical Assistant with OrthoArizona, you will get to

Prepare patients for examination and treatment, including taking vitals and recording patient history.

Input and maintain appropriate EMR documentation.

Prepare examination rooms, ensuring they are clean, well-organized, and equipped with necessary supplies.

Assist in the procedure room with procedures, receive IV training and certification and start IVs.

Support physicians and nurses during patient examinations and treatments.

Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and monitoring voicemail and phone calls.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program
  • Current CPR certification
  • At least one year of experience in a medical office
  • 1+ year using an EMR with ModMed / EMA experience preferred
  • Strong technical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Modernizing medicine EMA EMR experience

Requirements

Requires a high school diploma, graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program, and current CPR certification. Candidates should have at least one year of medical office experience, preferably with ModMed/EMA EMR software.
