We are seeking a Medical Lab Technician (MLT) – Automated Chemistry to join IQVIA Laboratories at Valencia, CA.

Job Summary: Responsible for performing routine laboratory testing and analytical procedures in a regulated environment.

This role supports data generation, equipment maintenance, quality activities, and laboratory operations while ensuring compliance with SOPs and applicable regulatory requirements.

Schedule Tuesday through Saturday (6:00 PM – 2:30 AM) What You'll Be Doing: Perform and document analytical procedures in accordance with SOPs and regulatory guidelines Analyze routine laboratory data and verify results are within established quality parameters Identify, document, and escalate unusual results or potential performance issues to senior laboratory staff Prepare laboratory reagents, buffers, and solutions required for testing activities Calibrate, maintain, and document laboratory equipment performance as assigned Support quality investigations, deviations, corrective actions, and procedural updates Train and assist laboratory personnel on routine procedures and demonstrated areas of competency Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders and support continuous improvement, safety, and 6S initiatives What We Are Looking For: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience (Some CAP/CLIA laboratory locations may require a Bachelor’s degree in a chemical, physical, biological, or clinical laboratory science, medical laboratory technology, or cytotechnology) Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) License (Required) 6 months experience in a regulated laboratory environment Proficiency with relevant laboratory techniques and analytical testing procedures Experience working with laboratory automation systems or specialized laboratory equipment Other equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree The

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Needed for This Role: Working knowledge of applicable regulatory standards, including Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously Effective collaboration and communication skills with internal stakeholders and laboratory teams Knowledge of laboratory safety, infection control practices, and hazardous chemical handling Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting, close eye work requirement (computer, typing, reading small prints). Physical demands vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks. Occasional exposure to cold temperatures.

Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.

Requirements

Requires a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) license and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a clinical or biological science. Candidates need at least 6 months of experience in a regulated laboratory environment and proficiency with laboratory automation systems.
