Our 8-bed Critical Access ED allows us the opportunity to provide dedicated care to our rural population. Job Responsibilities: Able to work well under high stress, high acuity and make quick decisions as part of a team to save lives Rapidly triage patients, prioritize care, and deliver immediate interventions Safely administer medications and efficiently stabilize patients for ongoing treatment Provide hands on patient care to patients of all ages Work closely and communicate well with Emergency Department provider Maintain accurate and continued documentation including patient histories, conditions, treatments and responses and assessment of changes Track patient vitals, adjust treatment plans based on response Participate as a member of the Campus Response Team
Current state of Illinois Registered Nurse Licensure in good standing Current BLS Certification Basic computer knowledge Current ACLS and PALS certification or ability to achieve within 3 months of hire 1 year of Emergency Department nursing experience preferred
