About the role

The Ophthalmic Scribe is responsible for documenting patient visits in real time and recording diagnoses and treatment plans. They also perform ophthalmic testing, prepare exam rooms, and educate patients on procedures and medications.

  • What you'll do
  • Document patient visits in real time during physician exams
  • Prepare patient charts and exam rooms
  • Record diagnoses, treatment plans, and physician orders
  • Perform ophthalmic testing and patient workups
  • Educate patients on procedures, testing, and medications
  • Ensure accurate and complete medical records
