The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is an incredible opportunity to expand your role in nursing care through providing high-quality care focused on the comfort and well-being of patients and families.
As an LPN at MultiCare you will work in collaboration with the nursing team to ensure the best possible health care outcomes and patient experiences.
You will provide age-appropriate care utilizing nursing education and knowledge of growth, development, and aging You will deliver daily routine care and services to patients from diverse ethnic and social groups You will assist care team in implementing the nursing process utilizing your strong interpersonal skills
Graduate of an accredited school or equivalent qualifying experience Current Licensed Practical Nurse in Washington State or Multistate license endorsement (MLS) Current BLS certification License to pass medications may be required Previous experience as an LPN, in an acute care setting within the last three (3) years preferred Current experience in the assigned specialty, or successful completion of a specialty focused residency post hire Successful completion of appropriate competencies for assigned specialty About Tacoma General Hospital MultiCare Tacoma General Hospital, in the heart of Tacoma, WA, is a 367-bed regional medical center delivering cutting-edge care. Pay and Benefit Expectations We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $30.40 - $43.75 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
