South Brooklyn Health is a redesigned health care campus featuring the new 11-floor Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospital which provides emergency care, modern labor and delivery suites, and state-of-the-art surgical services. The new Health & Wellness Institute offers outpatient services from primary and preventive care, to specialty services for children and adults, all designed to keep our community healthy. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine to maintain its high standards of healthcare delivery.   • Details: Medical management and comprehensive care of patients in the Medicine Inpatient Units. Attend to consultations and referrals, as needed. Provide education and training to residents, medical students, and junior members of the medical team. Collaboration with facility-wide Departments, as required. Participation in hospital-wide performance and quality improvement projects and patient safety initiatives. Responsible for the supervision of Advanced Practice Providers. Flexible schedule for evening and overnight hours coverage - Dedicated hours with flexibility for coverage. Qualifications Active or eligible for a NYS License Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine Cultural sensitivity and experience treating a diverse patient population preferred

  • (board certified) based on 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours. The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $360,620*
