About the role

Manage a diverse panel of transplant and internal medicine patients, integrating general and perioperative care. Oversee medically complex patients while collaborating with subspecialists, radiology, and pharmacy teams.

Opportunity Information This is an opportunity to work with a world-renowned transplant group in managing a diverse panel of transplant, hepatology, gastroenterology, cardiology, nephrology and general internal medicine patients.

Hospitalist work will integrate general and perioperative medicine, liver disease, complex GI, advanced heart failure and specialty cardiac care, and end-organ disease management into a team that maximizes patient satisfaction and outcomes.

Oversee care for medically complex patients while working closely with a full complement of consult services, a top-notch radiology service and an interactive inpatient pharmacy team The service load is designed to provide excellent work-life balance while allowing careful and considered care for each patient at Sutter Health's Flagship Hospital.

CPMC (a Leapfrog Group Top Hospital) has been considered the best hospital in the Bay Area (San Francisco Chronicle reader survey) and the 'Healthiest Hospital in America' (Natural Health magazine).

1.0 FTE is equivalent to 10 shifts/per month (generally 5 days on, 10 days off pattern) Weekday Shifts 12 hours (8pm-8am) Weekend Shifts 14 hours (6pm-8am) eHospitalist for cross coverage from 6pm-2am Closed ICU with no rounding Opportunity to work with top tiered subspecialists in the country

Qualifications

Requirements

Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine with an active, unrestricted California Medical License. Experience with tertiary care medicine is highly preferred.
