The Life Skills Coach (LSC) is an essential part of the Independence Program (IP) team reporting directly to Generations Home Care LLC, as well as the Independence Program Case Manager.
Each Veteran Warrior is typically authorized for between 6-12 hours per week with their Life Skills Coach.
More than one Veteran Warrior may be assigned to a Life Skills Coach if availability allows for adequate scheduling for the Veterans and their LSC.
The male warrior we are hiring for needs a LSC to provide up to 50 hours per month (scheduling 2-3 days per week) of support services.
Ideal candidate must be a male and have the following: insured vehicle and be willing to transport (mileage reimbursed), enjoy being in the community, have outstanding organizational skills, and a positive forward thinking approach.
We provide training, supervision by Neuro Case Management and offer on-going professional enhancement educational webinars.

This is a community-based position working with Veterans who have brain injuries, PTSD, neurological disabilities and other cognitive or physical challenges.
While providing functional support to a Veteran Warrior, the LSC is responsible for providing opportunities for increased participation in community activities, increased social capital, improved quality of life and development of meaningful and purposeful activities.
This is a PRN opportunity and hourly pay is $20.00 plus mileage reimbursement.
The current schedule is 2-3 times per week for a total of 50 hours per month maximum.
This position will never become a full-time position.
Candidates must be male, possess an insured vehicle, and have a positive, compassionate approach. Experience with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), PTSD, or military culture is preferred.
