Olando Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with experience in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine to join our Bariatrics and Medical Weight Loss team. This provider will play a key role in delivering holistic, patient‑centered care to individuals pursuing medical weight loss, working collaboratively within a physician‑led, team‑based care model. The ideal candidate is committed to excellence, values interdisciplinary collaboration, and is passionate about improving the long‑term health and well‑being of patients living with obesity and related chronic conditions. This is a Monday–Friday position with no weekend hours.
Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and ongoing management of patients participating in medical weight loss programs Deliver holistic care that addresses medical, behavioral, nutritional, and lifestyle factors affecting weight and overall health Manage obesity‑related comorbidities such as diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemia, and metabolic syndrome Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans, including lifestyle modification and pharmacologic therapy as appropriate Educate and counsel patients on sustainable weight management, disease prevention, and health promotion Collaborate closely with bariatric surgeons, physicians, dietitians, behavioral health professionals, nursing staff, and other members of the care team Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record in accordance with Orlando Health standards Adhere to clinical protocols, quality measures, and regulatory requirements
Current Florida licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in good standing National board certification as an NP or PA Clinical experience in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Primary Care Strong clinical judgment and patient‑centered communication skills Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary healthcare environment
