Position Summary

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for performing PET/CT and nuclear medicine procedures; maintaining departmental standards in accordance with Policies and Procedures, and up-to-date knowledge on new techniques and procedures. This position works under limited supervision independently performing PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine testing. Work situations require a service-oriented individual. Procedures performed require independent judgement, initiative, ingenuity, and strict adherence to radiation safety management guidelines. Internal contacts are primarily with patient care staff. External contacts include patients, families, physicians, and peers.

Requirements

BA or BS degree in science of health care field preferred CMNT (NMTCB), ARRT (N) or equivalent or/ registry eligible and exam taken within one year of employment Certified with the State of Washington Department of Health Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (CT) preferred Previous knowledge of and/or experience in computerized tomography desirable Why Pulse Heart Institute? Pay and Benefit Expectations We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $38.38 - $55.23 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
