N/A Key Responsibilities Clinical Excellence: Deliver exceptional hygiene care, including prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing (SRP), and adjunctive services. Diagnostics & Documentation: Perform accurate periodontal charting, radiographs, and intraoral photos. Thoroughly review medical histories to identify health risk factors. Complete clinical notes efficiently in Dentacon/Practice Management System. Patient Education: Educate patients on periodontal disease, home care, and preventive options (fluoride, sealants, night guards). Clearly communicate clinical findings to the doctor. Case Acceptance: Support comprehensive patient care by identifying treatment opportunities, reinforcing doctor recommendations, and ensuring every patient leaves with their next recare appointment scheduled. Team Collaboration: Active participation in morning huddles to review hygiene production goals, perio opportunities, and schedule flow. Coordinate smoothly with the Assistant, Patient Care Advocate, Schedule Flow Coordinator, and Practice Success Manager. Operatory Management: Maintain a clean, sterile, well-stocked, and organized hygiene operatory.
