Diagnostics & Documentation: Perform accurate periodontal charting, radiographs, and intraoral photos. Thoroughly review medical histories to identify health risk factors. Complete clinical notes efficiently in Dentacon/Practice Management System. Patient Education: Educate patients on periodontal disease, home care, and preventive options (fluoride, sealants, night guards). Clearly communicate clinical findings to the doctor. Case Acceptance: Support comprehensive patient care by identifying treatment opportunities, reinforcing doctor recommendations, and ensuring every patient leaves with their next recare appointment scheduled. Coordinate smoothly with the Assistant, Patient Care Advocate, Schedule Flow Coordinator, and Practice Success Manager. Operatory Management: Maintain a clean, sterile, well-stocked, and organized hygiene operatory.
