About the role

The Occupational Therapist provides therapeutic interventions to improve independence and functional performance for pediatric patients from infancy through adolescence. This role involves working within a multidisciplinary team to deliver coordinated care across various clinical areas including neurological and sensory-processing conditions.

Pay Range

$34.21 - $51.31 A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education. HSHS/Prevea is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our outpatient pediatrics team. Ideal candidates are patient-focused, mission-driven therapists looking for an opportunity to improve patients’ independence, participation, and overall functional performance through therapeutic interventions.

Qualified candidates will possess experience in pediatric therapy and demonstrate the ability to provide care across a broad spectrum of clinical areas, including but not limited to developmental, neurological, orthopedic, sensory-processing, and fine motor conditions. The role requires clinical proficiency and adaptability in treating pediatric patients across all age groups, from infancy through adolescence, with a wide range of diagnoses and functional abilities.

The Occupational Therapist will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of comprehensive, coordinated, and high-quality care.

Education Qualifications Graduate (e.g., bachelors, master, or doctorate) from an accredited program which meets the licensure requirements in the state of practice is required. Experience Qualifications N/A Certifications, Licenses and Registrations IL: State Licensure as an Occupational Therapist is required OR has been authorized to practice by the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation (IDFPR) and must obtain licensure within 6 months. WI: State Licensure as an Occupational Therapist is required OR has been issued a temporary licensure to practice and must obtain licensure within 6 months. Certified Basic Life Support (BLS) or completion in the first 90 days of employment is required.

Requirements

Candidates must have a graduate degree from an accredited program and hold or be eligible for state licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Illinois or Wisconsin. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within the first 90 days of employment.
