Capitol Imaging Services (Diagnostic Imaging Specialist) is looking for a full time Technologist Assistant. The Technologist Assistant supports imaging technologists in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services. This role ensures smooth workflow by preparing patients, maintaining equipment, and assisting with administrative and clinical tasks to optimize patient care and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Patient Preparation: Greet and assist patients in a professional and compassionate manner. Verify patient identity and ensure accurate documentation. Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including positioning and explaining the process. Technologist Support: Assist technologists during imaging procedures as needed. Handle and transport imaging equipment and accessories safely. Monitor and maintain cleanliness and readiness of imaging rooms. Administrative Duties: Schedule appointments and manage patient flow. Enter and update patient information in the imaging system. Ensure compliance with HIPAA and company privacy standards. Equipment & Safety: Perform basic equipment checks and report malfunctions promptly. Maintain stock of supplies and prepare rooms for procedures. Adhere to radiation safety and infection control protocols.
