Position Summary

Capitol Imaging Services (Diagnostic Imaging Specialist) is looking for a full time Technologist Assistant. The Technologist Assistant supports imaging technologists in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services. This role ensures smooth workflow by preparing patients, maintaining equipment, and assisting with administrative and clinical tasks to optimize patient care and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Patient Preparation: Greet and assist patients in a professional and compassionate manner. Verify patient identity and ensure accurate documentation. Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including positioning and explaining the process. Technologist Support: Assist technologists during imaging procedures as needed. Handle and transport imaging equipment and accessories safely. Monitor and maintain cleanliness and readiness of imaging rooms. Administrative Duties: Schedule appointments and manage patient flow. Enter and update patient information in the imaging system. Ensure compliance with HIPAA and company privacy standards. Equipment & Safety: Perform basic equipment checks and report malfunctions promptly. Maintain stock of supplies and prepare rooms for procedures. Adhere to radiation safety and infection control protocols.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree in healthcare preferred). Previous experience in a healthcare or imaging environment is a plus. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced setting. Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with medical software. Qualifications
