Performs intracavitary dosimetry, interstitial dosimetry and HDR dosimetry. Takes ownership for the correct billing entry for all Physics planning procedures. Performs two-dimensional and three-dimensional (standard and complex) IMRT, SRS and SRT computerized external beam planning. Performs secondary manual calculations of treatment monitor unit calculations. Provides leadership and mentoring to level I Dosimetrists. Assists Physics in acceptance testing, implementing and troubleshooting treatment planning software. Performs secondary check of treatment plans. May perform additional duties as assigned.
Education - Bachelor's Degree or 5 total years of Dosimetry experience and CMD certification are met, an Associate's degree is acceptable Experience - 0 Years of experience needed if Bachelor or Masters degree. Experience - As an equivalency, 5 years of dosimetry experience and cmd are met, an associate's os acceptable Certification - Certified Medical Dosimetrist Upon Start
