Registered Nurse (RN) – GI Lab Bring your passion for Texas Health So We Are Better + Together Work location: · Texas Health Plano, 6200 West Parker Road, Plano, TX 75093 Work hours: · Full Time/Days (7:00a – 5:30p), Monday’s off · 10-hour shifts GI Lab Department Highlights: · Robust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership team · Fast-Paced, high-volume department · Promotes within · Education and growth opportunities for all interested · High retention/Low turnover in this department

Here’s What You Need

  • · Nursing Diploma in Nursing required or · Associate’s degree in nursing required or · Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred · Other – CIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency required · 1 year of experience a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program required · 6-months direct Endo/GI Lab experience as a RN strongly preferred · RN – Registered Nurse upon hire required · BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly upon hire required and · ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days of hire required and · PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 90 days of hire required · A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Requires a nursing diploma or degree and a valid RN license, with at least one year of experience or completion of a residency. BCLS is required upon hire, with ACLS and PALS certifications needed within 90 days.
