The Medical Assistant supports providers by performing clinical and administrative tasks, including rooming patients and documenting vital signs. They are responsible for administering medications and managing patient records within the EMR system.

What You’ll Do Create a welcoming, positive experience for every patient and family member Support providers by performing clinical and administrative tasks efficiently and accurately Room patients, take and document vital signs, and update charts in the EMR Administer medications and injections per provider orders, following all documentation and safety protocols Keep patient records up to date, including medications, allergies, and medical history Answer phone calls, respond to patient needs, and route messages appropriately Help keep clinic operations running smoothly in a fast-paced setting

What We’re Looking For High school diploma or equivalent required Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred Active and appropriate Medical Assistant or nursing certification/licensure required Knowledge of basic clinical procedures and nursing practices Strong communication skills and a patient-first attitude Ability to work well in a team-oriented, high-energy environment Flexibility to travel to satellite locations as needed

Requirements

A high school diploma is required, and completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program is preferred. Candidates must hold an active and appropriate Medical Assistant or nursing certification/licensure.
