About the role

Provide psychiatric and geriatric care for older adults in a 20-bed co-ed unit at UC Medical Center. Collaborate with clinical teams to treat a variety of behavioral health diagnoses and participate in psychiatric emergency services.

UC Health is hiring Full Time Registered Nurse (RN) for the 6 Ridgeway Psychiatry for the day shift at UC Medical Center.

This is a 20 bed, mixed Geriatric/Psychiatric co-ed unit which focuses on the treatment of older adults, many of whom are 55 and older, with primary psychiatric diagnoses.

Clinical ladder program- opportunity for advancements from a CN 1 nurse by doing unit projects that comes with monetary benefits as well as career engagement.

Requirements

Requires a nursing degree from an accredited school and a current Ohio RN license. Candidates must have six months of psychiatric patient care experience or equivalent coursework, and obtain NCI-APS certification within 90 days of hire.
