About the role

Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care in a clinic setting, including annual well-woman visits and follow-up care. Perform routine in-clinic procedures and collaborate with a multidisciplinary women's health network.

Job Description

This position is accountable for the provision of patient care and other activities as permitted by licensure and defined within Credentialing and Privileging documentation (hospital), Credentialing and Scope of Practice (Medical Group), Consultation and Referral Plan (DOPL) or other similar documentation as appropriate. As part of that patient care, this position is accountable to: deliver optimal patient care through effective clinical practice; education of the patient, patient's family, clinical staff, and others; consultation with other healthcare providers; and maintain current knowledge regarding options for optimal patient care and outcomes. Advanced Practice Provider Women’s Health Billings Downtown Clinic Billings, MT When you join us, you’ll become a part of a nationally recognized health system dedicated to our mission of “helping people live the healthiest lives possible.” This APP will provide care in clinic, supporting both obstetric and gynecologic patients. Majority of time will be spent providing annual well-woman visits, establishing care and follow up visits, and limited urgent care. The APP may place IUDs, Nexplanon (if certified), routine in-clinic procedures, and assist with surgical preparation activities. About this role: As an Advanced Practice Provider with Intermountain Health, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. You will join a newly forming obstetrics & gynecology practice in Billings, Montana, employed by the Intermountain Medical Group You will work at the top of your license treating OB and GYN patients Schedule will generally be Monday – Friday during regular clinic hours There are no expectations for you to participate in any after-hours call, inpatient care, or surgeries in this role MFM clinic onsite and available 24/7 for telehealth consult You’ll become part of our women’s health network, connecting you to other women’s health providers across the Mountain West and locally to certified nurse midwives, gynecologic oncologists, urogynecologists, and allied health providers like pelvic floor physical therapists How we'll support you: We care about your wellbeing which is why we provide our caregivers with a generous benefits package. Requirements

Requires board certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with an active Montana medical license and full prescriptive authority. Must hold BLS certification and be able to complete the credentialing process.
