The Group Therapist facilitates psychoeducational and process-oriented group sessions using evidence-based modalities for high-acuity mental health clients. They are also responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care.
Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related behavioral health field. Licensed or license-eligible in the State of Georgia as one of the following: LPC APC LMSW LCSW Minimum of two (2) years of experience providing mental health and/or substance use treatment. At least one (1) year of experience facilitating therapeutic groups. Experience conducting individual and family therapy sessions. Working knowledge of mood disorders, thought disorders, personality disorders, and co-occurring diagnoses. CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) and CPR/First Aid certifications preferred.
