Position Summary

The Physical Therapist (PT) is responsible for evaluating/assessing needs of referred patients and formulating treatment plans in a home care environment. The PT provides therapy services defined in treatment plans while working cooperatively with physicians and case managers. The PT performs a variety of tasks and is encouraged to use a certain degree of creativity and latitude. COVERAGE AREA Capitol supports families in the Austin Metro Area and the surrounding counties (Bastrop, Bell, Blanco, Bosque, Burnet, Cadwell, Coryell, Falls, Fayette, Hays, Lampasas, Lee, Llano, McLennan, Milanm, San Saba, Travis and Williamson). Qualifications

Graduate of a Baccalaureate, Master's or Doctorate program in Physical Therapy program accredited by a Physical Therapy accreditation Current and unencumbered licensed to practice as a Physical Therapist within the state of employment. Two (2) years of appropriate experience as a Physical Therapist. Community/home health experience is preferred. Demonstrates good verbal and written communication and organization Possess and maintain valid CPR Must have obtained in-person with a practical skills evaluation as part of the final test. Access to reliable transportation.

Requirements

Candidates must have a degree in Physical Therapy, a current state license, and at least two years of experience. A valid CPR certification and reliable transportation are also required.
