As part of the health care team, practices Pharmacy as a knowledge-based clinical profession, and integrates patient-oriented services with traditional distributive and drug control activities. Provides pharmaceutical services including drug information to nurses, physicians, and other health care providers. Advises the same with respect to drug interactions, contraindications and other relevant information to ensure optimal and safe drug therapy. Serves all patients to include, but not limited to, neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults and geriatrics. *The Unit Based Pharmacist will be working three 12hr shifts per week + every fourth weekend
REQUIRED: Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy. Must have an active GA Pharmacy license. PREFERRED: Previous ICU/PCU experience and residency training preferred. One (1) year of previous hospital pharmacy experience. Good communication skills. Work Hours: 7a-730p Weekend Requirements: Yes
