The Life Services Coordinator provides personal care, medication assistance, and housekeeping services to residents in a memory care setting. They are also responsible for engaging residents in social and recreational activities to maximize their independence and well-being.
In general, we offer 8-, and 12-hour shifts for our nursing positions. We have openings for full-time (30+ hours weekly) and part-time (up to 29 hours weekly) positions.
Assisted Living Memory Care - CMA/CNA/Non-Certified provides services to tenants as assigned and as indicated on Resident Service Plans which may include grooming and dressing guidance, assistance with bathing, and medication reminders/ assistance Assisted Living Memory Care - CMA/CNA/Non-Certified reports any significant tenant changes to the nurse Assisted Living Memory Care - CMA/CNA/Non-Certified monitors for changes in tenant needs, preferences, and/or health status, and reports/documents any changes according to established procedures Assisted Living Memory Care - CMA/CNA/Non-Certified reviews the Staff 24-Hour Communication log and corresponding Tenant Service Notes on a daily basis for information about changes in tenant service needs and/or health conditions Assisted Living Memory Care - CMA/CNA/Non-Certified prepare and serve meals/snacks, monitor food expiration dates and maintain kitchen cleanliness. Assisted Living Memory Care - CMA/CNA/Non-Certified complete various housekeeping duties including; dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms and common spaces, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, make and change bed linens, laundry services. Assisted Living Memory Care - CMA/CNA/Non-Certified maintains activity calendar and engage tenants in activities such as spiritual, educational, games, music, and physical activities Assisted Living Memory Care - CMA/CNA/Non-Certified provide companionship Assisted Living Memory Care - CMA/CNA/Non-Certified works effectively with minimal supervision and in a team setting Assisted Living Memory Care - CMA/CNA/Non-Certified follows safety policies in performing care, assuring resident safety Assisted Living Memory Care - CMA/CNA/Non-Certified follows and upholds policies and procedures Assisted Living Memory Care - CMA/CNA/Non-Certified attends and participates in facility meetings and in-service training programs as assigned Assisted Living Memory Care - CMA/CNA/Non-Certified follows infection control guidelines Assisted Living Memory Care - CMA/CNA/Non-Certified observes residents’ rights including, but not limited to, privacy, dignity, etc. QualificationsQualifications: Must have 1-2 years’ previous experience working with individuals with dementia, preferably in a memory care setting. Must be at least 18 years of age, with a high school diploma or equivalent GED. Medication Manager OR Certified Medication Aide reccomended.
