Job Summary: Provide professional and technical expertise to perform automated and manual clinical laboratory testing within the Automated Chemistry area, ensuring accurate and timely results that support clinical research and patient care.
This role operates within the scope of a valid California Clinical Laboratory Scientist license while maintaining compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
What You'll Be Doing: Perform and report automated and manual clinical laboratory testing with minimal supervision Verify quality control results and release laboratory results in accordance with licensing and regulatory requirements Maintain laboratory inventory, prepare reagents, and ensure equipment and testing materials are available for daily operations Troubleshoot laboratory processes and communicate testing irregularities that may impact results Support assay validations, assay improvements, and implementation of new testing configurations Maintain compliance with CLIA, CAP, GCLP, safety, quality, and company procedures Participate in audits, inspections, continuing education, and training activities Support special projects and other laboratory responsibilities as assigned What We Are Looking For: Valid Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) license required Bachelor's Degree required Up to 5 years of relevant experience in a regulated laboratory Working knowledge of Good Clinical Laboratory Practices (GCLP), CLIA requirements, and applicable regulatory standards Proficiency with complex laboratory testing procedures, laboratory instrumentation, and quality control processes Other equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree The
