Bachelor's degree Be a graduate of a Physician Assistant Training Program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC- PA), or its predecessors, and acceptable to the Surgeon General, USAF, is mandatory. Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician’s Assistants (NCCPA) Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant (Any State) Have at least 24 months of experience as an Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant within the last 36 months in the specialty. In addition to the education requirements listed, specialty PAs must complete residency or fellowship training of 12 months or more in a medical specialty program acceptable to the DHA.
