Assists registered nurses, physician assistants, and physicians in providing designated care to patients in the ED/FSED. Performs various duties to support the efficient throughput of patients ranging from infants to geriatric adults.
Under the direction of the Unit Manager, and under the supervision of the ED/FSED Charge nurse, assists the registered nurse, physician assistant, nurse practitioner and physician in the ED/FSED in giving designated care to the patient under their direct supervision; and performs a variety of other related duties to assist in the throughput of patients in the ED/FSED.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Requires a National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire. One year of experience in a hospital, physician office, or emergency medical setting is preferred.
