About the role

Provide comprehensive behavioral health services, including assessments and therapy, to Spanish and English speaking individuals and families. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA standards.

Mindify Wellness and Care is seeking a compassionate, culturally responsive, and skilled Spanish-speaking Mental Health Therapist to provide high-quality behavioral health services to individuals and families throughout New Jersey.

This hybrid opportunity combines telehealth flexibility with meaningful in-person clinical work, allowing therapists to build a consistent caseload while making a lasting impact within underserved communities.

Compensation & Employment Structure Compensation: $35-45 Compensation is based on licensure level, experience, credentials, and clinical expertise.

Employment Structure All new clinicians begin as 1099 Independent Contractors, providing flexibility while becoming familiar with our patients, programs, and clinical workflows.

Following a successful 90-day review period, clinicians may be considered for transition into a part-time or full-time W-2 position based on: Quality of clinical care Documentation accuracy and timeliness Patient engagement and satisfaction Reliability and professionalism Team collaboration Organizational growth and staffing needs For clinicians interested in long-term career growth, the review process also provides an opportunity to discuss leadership interests, areas of specialization, professional development goals, and future advancement opportunities.

Potential W-2 Benefits Eligible providers may become eligible for: Paid Time Off (PTO) Paid Holidays Hybrid work opportunities Additional company-sponsored benefits as applicable Schedule & Location This position follows a flexible hybrid model.

Minimum of two (2) onsite days per week in Perth Amboy, NJ Remaining sessions may be conducted virtually Flexible scheduling options available Opportunity to build and maintain a consistent caseload Key Responsibilities Clinical Services Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments.

Develop individualized treatment plans.

Provide individual, family, couples, and/or group therapy services.

Utilize evidence-based treatment modalities including CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Trauma-Informed Care.

Assist clients in building coping skills, emotional regulation strategies, and wellness goals.

Provide crisis intervention when clinically appropriate.

Collaboration & Care Coordination Collaborate with psychiatric providers, primary care providers, and interdisciplinary teams.

Participate in case consultations and treatment planning discussions.

Coordinate referrals and connect clients with community resources.

Support continuity of care and patient advocacy.

Documentation & Compliance Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation.

Maintain treatment plans, progress notes, and assessments in accordance with regulatory standards.

Ensure compliance with HIPAA and applicable payer requirements.

Maintain professional and ethical standards of practice.

Qualifications

Education Master's Degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related behavioral health field. Licensure Active New Jersey license or associate license in good standing, including: LCSW LSW LPC LAC Other qualified behavioral health licenses recognized by the State of New Jersey Language Requirement Fluent in Spanish and English (Required) Candidates must be able to: Conduct clinical assessments in both Spanish and English. Provide therapy services in both languages. Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals. Complete clinical documentation accurately and professionally. Preferred Experience Behavioral health counseling or psychotherapy experience. Outpatient or community-based mental health experience. Telehealth experience. Experience working with culturally diverse populations. Requirements

Requires a Master's degree in a behavioral health field and an active New Jersey license (LCSW, LPC, LSW, or LAC). Full fluency in both Spanish and English is mandatory for conducting clinical services.
