The Associate Dentist will provide comprehensive dental care, including consultations, preventative procedures, and restorative treatments such as root canals and extractions. They are responsible for diagnosing oral diseases, creating treatment plans, and maintaining accurate patient records while collaborating with the team.
The Andersonville Dentologie practice (digital, nine ops) is seeking a talented full-time General Dentist to start this September (at least one year of practice experience required). The ideal dentist candidate is a skilled provider focused on providing excellent comprehensive dentistry and is a positive impact to the employee culture! Provide consultation with patients and discuss and treat dental concerns, perform regular cleanings and other preventative procedures, and establish a comprehensive treatment plan for better dental hygiene and positive restorative outcomes. Perform dental procedures, such as extractions, root canals, and filling cavities. Correct bite issues and overcrowding. Apply preventative measures for teeth, such as sealants or whiteners. Prescribe medications such as pain medications or antibiotics. Utilize tools such as drills, probes, brushes, to examine and treat teeth. Keep accurate records relating to the patient's oral health and the tx rendered to them. Manage positively and communicate with team to provide outstanding care to patients. Diagnose, tx plan, and diagnose oral disease and oral manifestation of systemic diseases. Routine follow-up with patients whom you’ve provided treatment via phone or email. Manage both patient experiences and patient expectations to create a positive outcome.
Active IL dental license (and malpractice insurance). Willingness to comply with all local, state, and federal laws regarding dental and healthcare. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to keep detailed records. Comprehensive knowledge of dental procedures, tools, thorough tx planning skills. Strong inter-personal and leadership qualities. Ability to manage dental complications for any procedure performed on a patient. Implant placement/advanced certification if placing implants or performing specialty work. Ability to adapt to Dentologie’s learning environment and be willing to accept constructive feedback and guidance - eager to further enhance your skillset.
