  • Shift: DayWe are seeking a skilled and dedicated Licensed Phlebotomist to join our medical team. As a Licensed Phlebotomist, your primary responsibility will be to draw blood from patients for diagnostic, therapeutic, or research purposes. You will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and reliable laboratory results, contributing significantly to patient care and treatment decision. Perform blood draws and other specimen collections on patients of all ages, adhering to established protocols and safety guidelines. Greet and interact with patients Verify patient identity and confirm the requisition orders before initiating the blood collection process. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring proper disposal of biohazardous materials and adherence to infection control procedures. Label and record specimens accurately, ensuring proper documentation of collected samples for tracking and testing purposes. Handle and transport specimens appropriately to the laboratory, ensuring timely delivery for analysis. Calibrate and maintain phlebotomy equipment, identifying and reporting any malfunctions or issues. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate specimen collection schedules and provide necessary support for patient care. Update patient records and maintain confidentiality of sensitive medical information. Stay informed on latest compliance standards with phlebotomy best practices, safety standards, and industry regulations.

  • Requirement: Valid California Phlebotomy Technician License (CPT) High school diploma or equivalent. 2+ years of experience as a Phlebotomist, showcasing strong blood-drawing skills and proficiency in various venipuncture techniques.
