  • 2026 New Graduate Nurses – RN Residency Program UnityPoint Health is seeking 2026 new graduate nurses with anticipated graduation dates in May, August, or December 2026 to join our RN Residency Program. This 12-month structured program is designed to support your transition into professional nursing practice while building strong clinical, critical thinking, and leadership skills.Position Overview The RN Residency Program provides new graduate nurses with the training, education, and support needed to successfully transition into a clinical role. Residents will participate in structured learning experiences, hands-on training, and ongoing professional development while working alongside experienced healthcare teams. Program Highlights 12-month structured residency program Focus on critical thinking, clinical assessment, and decision-making Leadership development and professional growth opportunities Evidence-based practice project opportunities Dedicated nurse educators and mentorship support

  • Program: UnityPoint Health offers a student stipend of $2,000/month for up to 6 months prior to licensure to support you as you transition from student to RN. $10,000 sign-on bonus Available Units Cardiac Treatment Unit Cardiac Stepdown Cath Lab Clinical Resource Team (Float Pool) Emergency Department ICU Infusion Maternal Services (L&D, Mother-Baby, NSCU) Endoscopy Recovery Care Center Mental Health Inpatient / Substance Use Disorder Acute Med Neuro / Medical Oncology Surgical Services (OR, Ambulatory, PACU, Surg/Ortho)

Responsibilities

Qualifications

Education: Diploma from an RN program. License(s)/Certification(s): Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in primary state. Must apply within 90 days for licensure in secondary state. Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. *Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, skills, internal equity, and other business needs. The salary range listed does not include other forms of compensation which may include bonuses/incentive, differential pay, or other forms of compensation or benefits that may be applicable to this role.

Requirements

Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with a BSN preferred and hold or be eligible for RN licensure by the start date. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
