About the role

The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing patients, developing individualized care plans, and administering medications and treatments. They collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and provide essential patient education and advocacy.

Overview A PCA assists patients with activities of daily living, provides basic nursing care for the acute and chronically ill patients under the supervision and direction of the Registered Nurse.

Qualifications

In addition to the two hospitals, the Gary R. Gore Medical Complex is conveniently located mid-county and is home to several outpatient clinics and a 22,000 square foot comprehensive Cancer Care Center. Requirements

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a valid nursing license in the State of Alabama and current BLS certification. Prior nursing experience and CMSRN certification are preferred but not required.
