About the role

Responsible for delivering patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The role involves directing and coordinating nursing care while collaborating with other professional disciplines to achieve desired patient outcomes.

Overview Responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation; responsible for directing, coordinating all nursing care based on established clinical nursing practices; collaborates with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.

Qualifications

Education: Graduate of a School of Professional Nursing; must provide documented evidence to perform waived testing Experience: 2 years of RN nursing experience in various clinical settings, including Surgical Services, Critical Care, or Medical-Surgical Nursing. Licenses/Certificates: License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Alabama. Current BLS certification. Current ACLS Certification required or obtained within 90 days of employment

Requirements

Requires a degree from a professional nursing school and a valid Registered Nurse license in the State of Alabama. Candidates must have 2 years of RN experience in clinical settings and current BLS and ACLS certifications.
