Health: The National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (CST) or the National Center for Competency Testing (TS-C). · Candidates without current certification who have successfully completed an accredited Surgical Technologist program, but has not, as of the date of hire, obtained a Surgical Technologist Certification must obtain such certification within 90 days of hire from a national certifying body recognized by the
Department of

Health: The National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (CST) or the National Center for Competency Testing (TS-C).
Surgical Technicians who acted within the role of a Surgical Technician (Operating Room Technician) on, or before October 1, 2023, may be grandfathered in per CT Public Act 23-195. · Must maintain Certification while employed in this role. · Must have certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support upon hire or receive certification within the new employee introductory orientation period and maintain clinical competency during employment within this role.
