As a Medication Aide, you will support that mission by providing safe medication assistance, personal care, comfort, and dignity to residents and guests. What You’ll Do As a Medication Aide, you will support residents and guests by assisting with medications, providing daily care, and communicating changes or concerns to the nursing team.
  • You will: Assist with medication administration according to physician orders, care plans, and facility procedures. Follow the five rights of medication administration and maintain resident privacy and dignity. Observe residents and guests for changes in condition, behavior, or needs and report concerns promptly to the nurse. Provide personal care and daily support based on each resident’s or guest’s care plan. Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene, mobility, toileting, and other care needs as directed. Support residents and guests with meals, hydration, dining, and daily routines. Answer call lights timely and help determine resident or guest needs. Document medication assistance, care provided, refusals, and changes accurately and timely. Partner with nurses, Nurse Techs, therapy, and other team members to support quality care. Follow infection-control practices, safety standards, and Hillcrest policies and procedures. Help maintain clean, safe, and comfortable resident care areas. Build positive, respectful relationships with residents, guests, families, nurses, and team members. What We’re Looking For We are looking for someone who is compassionate, dependable, and ready to provide safe, respectful support in a senior care environment. The right candidate will be attentive, organized, team-focused, and committed to helping residents and guests feel safe, comfortable, and cared for.
  • Ideal candidates will have: Experience working with older adults and providing personal care services in long-term care, post-acute care, hospital, senior living, or a similar setting preferred. A compassionate, dependable, and respectful approach to care. Strong attention to detail with medications, documentation, safety, and follow-through. Strong communication skills with residents, guests, families, nurses, and team members. Ability to notice changes in condition and report concerns promptly. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude. A team-first mindset and willingness to support others throughout the shift. Comfort using technology and care resources efficiently and effectively. Education & Credentials Active Certified Nursing Assistant certification in the state of Nebraska required. Active Medication Aide certification in the state of Nebraska required. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Physical & Other Requirements Must be able to speak, read, and write English. Must be able to independently lift up to 35 pounds. Must be able to perform repetitive sitting, bending, standing, walking, and movement as needed. Must be flexible, calm, and professional in changing or stressful situations. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail. Must be able to utilize technology and care resources efficiently and effectively. Requirements

Must hold active CNA and Medication Aide certifications in the state of Nebraska. A high school diploma and previous experience in long-term or senior care are preferred.
