Performs physical therapy procedures and assists Registered Physical Therapists with patient activities. Supervises technicians, volunteers, and students as assigned.

Overview Performs physical therapy procedures and other related tasks under the direction of a Registered Physical Therapist (RPT) and assists the RPT in patient activities. Supervises technicians, volunteers and students as assigned.

Qualifications

Education required: Graduate of APTA accredited educational program for Physical Therapists Assistants License, certification and/or registration: Must have current Alabama license. Must receive BCLS certification within orientation period. Prefer member of APTA Additional skills/abilities: Must have excellent communication skills with the ability and willingness to work with all patients in a fast-paced environment About Us Highlands Medical Center is a 170-bed hospital located in Scottsboro, offering a wide variety of emergency, inpatient and outpatient services to support the wellness of our community. Requirements

Must be a graduate of an APTA accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program and hold a current Alabama license. BCLS certification is required within the orientation period.
