The Wound Nurse Coordinator is responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing treatment plans for patients with acute and chronic wounds. They coordinate care across departments and mentor nursing staff on wound care best practices.

Key responsibilities
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate wound care treatment plans for patients.
Coordinate wound care services across departments and with external providers as needed.
Provide direct nursing care and education to patients and their families regarding wound management and prevention.

Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of wound assessments, treatments, and patient outcomes.
Serve as a resource and mentor to nursing staff on wound care best practices and protocols.

Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies related to wound care.
Qualifications: LPN License, CPR
Candidates must hold a valid LPN license and have at least 3 years of nursing experience, including 1 year in wound care. Certification in wound care (WCC or CWS) and CPR certification are preferred or required.
